Reliability Engineer – EDC ENERGY POWER & WATER
Currently we are looking for candidates to work on the position of:
Reliability Engineer
Workplace: Warsaw
Reference Number: E/AERO/RE/EDCW
Responsibilities:
- Perform analysis of engine hardware condition, reviewing physical condition from photo inspection and documented findings
- Perform Engine Removal analysis understanding timing and cause of such events
- Investigate fleet fix effectiveness
- Perform reliability analysis (weibull, etc) on hardware components
- Support commercial teams with shop visit planning
- Gather data from various sources & use judgment to prioritize fleet reliability issues
- Support other reliability oriented data analysis and improvement issues
- Devlop tools, processes & measures aimed towards improving RAM for the Aeroderivative fleet
Qualifications:
- BSc Mechanical, Electrical or Control Engineering or equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years of power plant or other relevant experience
- Experience with various reliability tools (Weibull analysis, failure rates, probability theory etc)
- Candidate must be thorough, accurate, with good communication skills and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work with global team
DESIRED:
- Familiarity with gas turbine system design and operations or equivalent
- Experience in statistics and Monte Carlo simulation
- Knowledge of GE Aeroderivative products or gas turbines
- Field experience in power plant maintenance
- Experience reviewing Borescope Inspection Photos or with engine hardware
