Centrifugal Pump Design Engineer – EDC OIL & GAS
Currently we are looking for candidates to work on the position of:
Centrifugal Pump Design Engineer
Workplace: Warsaw
Reference Number: OG/CPDE/EDCW
Requirements:
- Master Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aeronautical)
- Experience in turbomachinery engineering design will be an advantage
- 3D modeling experience (UG)
- FEA (ANSYS) essential knowledge and CFD (CFX) will be an advantage
- •Technical drawing and design interpretation background (GD&T)
- Good knowledge of mechanical design and manufacturing processes
- Team worker, hard worker, fast-learner, open-minded person with optimistic attitude
- Readiness for full responsibility for tasks taken
- Intermediate (communicative) knowledge of spoken and written English
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Demonstrated communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
Range of duties:
- Lead and perform engineering design and redesign activities for centrifugal pump components according to business standards, practices and procedures
- Assure proper documentation of technical data generated to substantiate the assigned components assemblies and/or systems consistent with engineering policies and procedures
- Perform hand calculations to support engineering decisions
- Monitor and communicate project status
- Generate and verify technical documentation resulting from engineering activities
- Introduce design changes in accordance to engineering processes
- Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews
- Provide timely communication on projects status
- Formulate and implement plans to achieve technical requirements, schedules and contract commitments
