EDC’s photo talents
The turn of the year is a period when our offices and desks get their annual makeover as we put new calendars on walls and in front of our eyes. This time the period has been special for EDC employees – the new desk calendars were put together using photos taken by employees.
It all started in November with a photo competition. Employees were to submit pictures that could be associated with EDC businesses. The final 12 was chosen by a cross-business jury and the winners were printed onto a calendar.
As a result, over the course of the year 2012 each month a work of one talented amateur photographer will be viewed and admired by over 1000 engineers.

3rd Night at the Warsaw Institute of Aviation
Please be invited to the third Night at the Warsaw Institute of Aviation!
If you want to see the Black Hawk, touch a jet engine, learn how the black box works, meet pilots and flight attendants, watch aviation-related films – come to the Warsaw Institute of Aviation on Friday, 21st October between 17.00 and 23.00.

The Warsaw Marathon and the Olympic Race are over – EDC named 2nd Runners-Friendly Company
Traditionally, EDC Runners had a strong representation in both races. The classification was based on the total number of kilometers completed by each company’s employees during the Warsaw Marathon and the Olympic Race.
15 of us competed in the full marathon, 12 – in the Olympic Race.
Top 3 final results among large companies (>501 HC) are:
- PKO BP – 851,12 km
- EDC – 728,92 km
- ING – 644,53 km
Congratulations to all of you – the challenge was hard and again you proved how strong you are.
Special congratulations for Janek, who was 15th in the Olympic Race – fantastic place, it’s very rare to have an EDC Runner ranked so high in such a big race!
